Google AdSense is
indeed one of the best avenues of monetizing a blog or website. However, you
can be banned or suspended from using the program if you fail to abide by the
terms and conditions. You can always avoid getting banned or suspended by
taking note of the following tips:
· Avoid clicking on your ads units by
any means
You may click on the ads mistakenly.
Your account won’t get banned when you mistakenly click the ads. In most cases,
the earnings from the mistake will show but after a while, they will disappear.
If you keep clicking your ads every now and then, your Google Adsense account
will be suspended or banned.
· Don’t Change Ad unit structure
Avoid changing the structure of the ad
units. However, you are allowed to change to color pattern or the font.
· Don’t lure people into clicking the
ads
Don’t
encourage your visitors to click the ads in any way. You can get into trouble
for that. Clicks must be coming from various regions before they are counted
valid.
· Don’t use robot or software to click your ad units
Your account can be banned forever if
you use robots to click ads units.
· Don’t place ad units in emails or applications
This is never allowed.
· Don’t join useless programs that
claim to boost traffic
There are many of such programs online.
They ask you to pay some cash just to buy traffic. You can get into trouble with
Google if you join them.
· Report Invalid Clicks
If for any reason, you notice tons of
invalid clicks on your ad units, don’t hesitate to contact the Google Adsense
team. Your online enemies can click ads repeatedly just to get at you.
If
you follow these tips shared above, you can always prevent your Google Adsense
account from being suspended or banned.
In some cases, the ad units serving on
your blog or website may be deactivated while your Google Adsense account still
remains open. In such cases, you can still appeal for a re-activation. All you
need is to contact the Google Adsense team. You can follow the link sent to
your inbox to tender an appeal.
On
the other hand, you can’t appeal for reactivation if your Google Adsense
account is banned or closed. The only option you can take is to go for other
publishers programs. They are referred to as Google Adsense alternatives. You can
read more about them in the next blog post.
